On June 24th, at the ISO International Standards Meeting in Paris, Zhejiang Double Arrow Rubber Co., Ltd. successfully led the proposal for a new ISO standard: Transverse Stiffness Test Method for Pipe Conveyor Belts. This marks a historic achievement—the first time China holds international standard-setting rights in the rubber conveyor belt sector.

For Double Arrow, this recognition is the result of years of innovation and technical breakthroughs. In 2016, Double Arrow completed a groundbreaking 30km pipe conveyor project in Henan—the world’s longest fully enclosed system—solving global challenges such as misaligned splices and solidifying its industry leadership.

A key breakthrough came in November last year. Testing from Leibniz University Hannover confirmed that Double Arrow’s ST10000 belt joint fatigue strength reached 55%—well above the 50% global benchmark—breaking through a high-end technical barrier.

Leading the ISO proposal, Double Arrow embraced an open, inclusive approach, integrating global best practices and investing in the world’s first fully automated transverse stiffness testing machine. This rigorous and collaborative effort earned wide international support and passed the ISO vote in one go.
